Saliva Testing
Why Saliva Testing?
• Blood testing represents only the minute amount of unbound
hormones. It does not represent the total amount of active hormones
nor, more importantly, the hormone values in tissue.
• Saliva testing measures the amount of active hormones in tissue.
• Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, BHRT,
should be implemented as a result of appropriate testing and documentation
of a deficiency.
• Salivary testing is safe and inexpensive.
• Saliva testing is approved by all governmental and laboratory
licensing bureaus.
