Why Saliva Testing?

• Blood testing represents only the minute amount of unbound hormones. It does not represent the total amount of active hormones nor, more importantly, the hormone values in tissue.
• Saliva testing measures the amount of active hormones in tissue.
• Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, BHRT, should be implemented as a result of appropriate testing and documentation of a deficiency.
• Salivary testing is safe and inexpensive.

How do you choose the right saliva test panel for you?

• For Female BHRT, the proper test panel will be dependant upon the patient’s menstrual status.
• For all other Saliva Panels, patients will be recommended the appropriate saliva test kit based on their symptoms.
• Test kits are shipped free to you or can be picked up at the pharmacy for collection of your saliva sample(s).

Their quality control procedures include daily parameter standardization in accordance with WHO, World Health Organization and other agencies reference material.
