Armour Thyroid Drug Shortage
There is a nationwide shortage of T4/T3 combination products like Armour® Thyroid (desiccated) and Liotrix® (Thyrolar).
A Compounded Armour Thyroid alternative is available through our pharmacy, Universal Arts Pharmacy. We also compound a BioIdentical Thyroid consiting of Liothyronine and Levothyroxine in Immediate Release or Slow Release formulations.
These compounded alternatives can be prescribed and may help in your transitioning as availability is never an issue.
